Architex Staff Attends International Builders Show

Owner / Principal Tim Gallagher and Project Manager Andrew Kohout attended the IBS in late January. Tim and Andrew walked the floor of the country’s largest building industry tradeshow to see and learn about the latest products and materials in residential construction. Tim and Andrew each participated in (12) continuing education seminars taught by industry experts; topics included new and future design trends, universal and accessible design, “green” building, building science and technology, structural framing and bracing products and design, design for multi-generational households, kitchen design, smaller and better floor plans for homes and detailed principles and strategies of the “Not so Big House” taught by Sarah Susanka.
